we are unlimited is looking for an Executive Producer who will oversee and execute compelling narratives through the art of production. You will become a part of the WAU team to lead and manage the execution of all agency concepts within multiple channels: short and long form video, digital, social, print and experiential.

This is someone who has creative vision, tireless enthusiasm, and the ability to drive big ideas, solve production challenges and ensure flawless execution. Our producers live by the mantra that they can make anything happen, and there is no problem that cannot be solved. The fact is, work dies when there is an uncertain perception of how it could be made. Now producers must expand their cross-medium knowledge, and embrace the greater complexity and technology involved in how new media works and can be utilized. Equal parts digital advocate and integrated content guru.

This is a full-time position based in Chicago.

The Meat

  • You will serve as a single-focused accountable producer on a project
  • You will possess a strong knowledge of all aspects of production and be able to work on all production platforms and related scope, quality of product and service, integration of various components of a brand ecosystem, and the completion of program deliverables on time and budget to fulfill client objectives.
  • The Executive Producer will maintain a specialty in their core discipline with an appetite and curiosity of all other aspects of creative integrated production.
  • The Executive Producer has a willingness to learn and explore beyond their core. You will inspire, push and implement our integrated digital growth within we are unlimited.
  • He or she is responsible for collaborating on innovative ideas and taking them from concept through execution and delivery.
  • The Executive Producer should have an eye for smart creative work, emerging technologies and cultivate relationships with production partners across multiple channels.
  • They will be forward thinking, a partner, and a resource to their team to help bring big ideas to life.
  • You will manage, mentor and develop junior producers within the department.

Digital Priorities

  • Manages all aspects of digital, mobile, social and online content creation.
  • Maintains communication with necessary creative and account managers to facilitate workflow.
  • Presents production budgets and timelines and addresses production related questions for internal and external clients.
  • Provides input for vendor selection process.
  • Remains current on industry and technological trends.
  • Initiates/maintains communications and interactions with client services and creative teams.
  • Manages projects from initial pitch, through discovery, concepting, design, development, QA final deliverables, including ad units, websites, applications, emails, videos, etc., and final deployment and delivery.
  • Manage details critical to campaign (URLs, Tracking/Analysis, Hosting, Contingency Plans, Downstream Effects, etc.).
  • Understanding of file requirements (dimensions, size, type, etc.) and transmission vehicles (FTP, Site Served, DART, Atlas, etc.).
  • Experience managing development projects through external vendors.
  • Strong vocabulary of Internet terminology (FLA vs. SWF, EyeWonder vs. EyeBlaster, GIF vs. JPG, PDF vs. PSD, Hosting vs. Redirecting).

Content/Broadcast Priorities

  • Manages all aspects of pre-production, production and postproduction.Maintains communication with necessary creative and account service people to facilitate workflow.
  • Presents production budgets and schedules and addresses production related questionsfor internal and external clients.
  • Provides input for director and vendor selection process.
  • Remains current on industry and technological trends.
  • Directs activities (casting, shooting, creating product) of staff and/or external partiesinvolved in production activities.
  • Arranges for timely delivery of materials to Agency and clients.
  • Be a tireless advocate for the creative process, so that the best ideas come to life, whilealways looking for the best way to provide solutions on time and budget.
  • Attend briefing, kick off, pre pro and review meetings.
  • Overall refine and/or establish process and workflow for the overall agency and
  • Manage individual producers on projects.
  • Work with Head of Production for staffing allocations.
  • Manages projects from initial pitch, through discovery, concepting, design,development, and QA final deliverables.

  • 7+ years of production experience within an agency setting.
  • Passionate student of the industry, and its development.
  • A strong knowledge of industry talent and vendors.
  • Appetite to produce work in all specialties (Digital, Social, Broadcast, Radio, Print,Experiential)
  • Collaborative yet confident.
  • Effective presenter.
  • Proven level-headed assertive presence.
  • Proficient in industry software and systems.
  • Nimble
  • The Executive Producer should be a smart strategic and conceptual thinker acrossintegrated platforms.
